About Me

Join Shared Reviews from hereSo, how do I stay out of mischief? I am first a mom to five great children, all of whom are young adults or teens now and are on their own, preparing to be on their own or wish they were on their own. I’m also an Artist with a Masters in Fine Arts and I work mostly in graphite, acrylics, oils, pencil crayon or airbrush (although the latter is still a work in progress). I am a chain maille fanatic as well as jewelry designer and I also love to play with clay – the sculpting kind not the bake in the oven kind, although I wouldn’t rule that out.

Crammed in there is also my freelance writer persona which offers me the opportunity to write on a variety of topics as well as create promotional pieces for all kinds of websites. Sometimes it keeps me so busy that I even forget to eat but coffee is my constant fuel so it’s all good!  Now, if that isn’t enough…just recently I took on the challenge of bringing to fruition a long time interest in broadcasting by diving head first into Podcasting!  As I entered into this venture, I dragged a friend in with me – no use going alone!  Together we have a Radio show called The Abundant Soul Within.  Now, you might think that’s where I’d stop my madness…but wait, there’s more and yes, you might be right in thinking, “really, as if!” however, as I looked into the massive scope that is self-improvement and began delving into the ways and means in which one can “create” their own life their way I found myself running face first into the study of the sub-conscious mind.  What I uncovered pushed me to want to learn more about this fascinating undercover worker housed in each of us.  That led me to dive into yet another venture which I believe will make not only the radio show more versatile due to the nature of topics we will now be able to cover, but it also uncovered something that I’ve been trying to determine for over 14 years now.  “What do I want to be when I grow up!”  So, I am currently undertaking studies to become a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and during my studies I’ve taken on the additional Certification as a Smoking Cessation therapist (which in my way of thinking will also pay a few bills while I truddle through the next 11 months of schooling 🙂  Now, all of that leads me to my eventual goals…

Eventually, I will take some time to travel, ideally by boat so that I can sit leisurely on the deck, my laptop on my knees. Perhaps, if I haven’t completed the novels I am working on by the end of the year…I will have plenty of time to do so while drifting aimlessly as I wait for my husband to tire of chasing little white balls around big patches of green grass and sand.

When needing a break from any of the above, I will often hang out at SharedReviews.com where I write product reviews and which is the main reason this blog exists.

Although it is here in order to assist my friends on SR to vote a little easier for my reviews, this blog is open to anyone who may care to refer to any of the reviews on SR in order to assist them with product purchases.

I’m happy to share this little part of my life with you – I hope you’ll enjoy the site – and should you find your way to SharedReviews.com, just tell them, Lexxia sent you.

In the next little while, I’ll post links to our ASW site as well as to my Hypnotherapy site which are currently both in the design stage but coming along nicely if I do say so myself! Thanks for reading this far…hope you aren’t tired yet because there’s still some voting to do!  Of course, I’ll always reciprocate and if I fail too…just send me a PM on SR or nudge me from my blog and I’ll get right on it.

Enjoy your stay and the rest of your day!  I appreciate your visit.
